Upcoming Smartwatches 2014 – 2015| Microsoft Intel Sony Smartwatch
Microsoft and Intel will b entering in the smartwatch market and Sony introducing its new range of smartwatches
Microsoft Smartwatch 3:
According to forbes MS will be launching its wearable at the end of 2014 or by the first quarter of 2015. The smartwatch will be compatible with Android and iOS devices. It will have a heart rate monitor which ll track users heart rate through out the day. It is rumored that the device will have eleven sensors(ll its just a rumor). the design of the device will be more like the samsung gear fit, but the display will rest on inside of wearers wrist. The cost of yet to be disclosed.
After buying Basis corp which focuses on wearables intel is ready to take part in the smartwatch league. Well this is not the first weareable device intel has introduced intel previously has aslo launched a is smart bracelet called MICA which was launched at the US fashion week for around $1000. The Intel Basis Peak is a fitness tracking smartwatch. The watch has heart rate monitor(which is quite common in most of the smartwatches) to track you heart rate and other sensors to track how much steps you have walked. The device is said to be independant of other devices for phone and internet access, it might have a built in 3G cellular antenna. The Peak is most likely to be launched in the forth quarter of 2014 mostly around Christmas and will cost around 90€+.
Though this device was introduced about a month ago in IFA event there is still no words on its price or when it will be available. But Rumor has it it will cost around $229. The device is packed with Quad ARM A7, 1.2 Ghz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB eMMC of internal memory and will have Android wear as its soul. Devices also works as a fitness tracker and also has bunch of other sensors to enhance user experience. Sony Smart watch 3 supports all other devices having Android Jelly Bean or higher version of android.
Sony Smartband Talk:
This was another device which Sony introduced at the IFA event, still no word on the price or when it will be available. But the device is said to be available at the price range of 159$. The device features an e ink curve display just like the pebble which use less battery and is quiet easy to view in sun light. The Device also has an inbuilt microphone which allows you to receive and reply call on the go. Its is water proof and has a stand by time of 3 days. Device also helps in tracking fitness activities.
